To see new items in our collection, click the Programs & Services tab above.  Click on "New titles" to see a list of titles coming to the Library!
Also, you can access the "Essa Public Library catalogue" in the Additional Resources box to:
  •  search for titles, authors & subjects in the Angus and Thornton Branches
  • Using your library card barcode & password, you can:                                     
                - place your own requests
              - review & renew the materials you currently have out on loan

 

 Angus Branch Project  

  On September 28, we were thrilled to be part of the announcement that our Essa Public Library, Angus Branch would be part of the new Essa Public High School, set for opening in September 2011!

The student-focused, joint-use facility design by Snyder & Associates Architects features:

- Public secondary school, public library and OPP community policing office
- Multi-purpose cafetorium
- Three-storey atrium
- Double gymnasium
- General and specialty classrooms
- Technology areas
- Student facilities
- Sustainable and environmentally-friendly features
