Micromedia ProQuest's Ancestry Library Edition provides in-library users a free genealogy research tool with unparalleled data from census, military records, court, land, probate, vital and church records, immigration records, passenger lists, etc. from Canada, United States, United Kingdom, as well as record collections from other areas in the World.
Ancestry Library Edition is available for a two-year period through a Project Initiative of Ministry of Culture with special funding administered by SOLS in conjunction with OLS-North.
If you require help in navigating this database, additional help will be available on Wednesdays, 2-6 p.m. at the Thornton Branch; Fridays, 2-5 p.m. in the Angus Branch.
